Robert F. Sheahan, CEO/Founder
Robert Sheahan is recognized as a pioneer in the field of Federal Business Development. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies as an engineer, as sales manager, and in business development. It was while leading the business development practice for Information Management Consultants, Inc. (IMC) in the early 1990's that he developed pipeline development methodologies and combined them with proven capture management processes to maximize the company's position to win. Mr. Sheahan was an integral part of the firm's growth from $12M to over $35M in under four years.
Mr. Sheahan has served as a division director for GTE Government Systems Corporation for the Financial Services and International Agencies. During that time, he directed the start-up of a financial services group that was a pioneer in the Federal government's move from traditional payment mechanisms to web-based e-Commerce, including Electronic Benefits Transfer and Electronic Federal Tax Payments. In under 2 years, his division grew from $4M to over $25M before GTE was merged with Bell Atlantic (Verizon). He also provided senior corporate strategy and business development support to e-Commerce pioneers such as Commerce One and American Management Systems (now CGI).
In 1996, Mr. Sheahan combined his expertise with marketing and coaching specialist, Linda E. Donath and together they founded Donath-Sheahan Associates-specializing in professional IT recruiting and small business development. Within ten years, DSA's acquisitions and substantial growth evolved the company into Pathfinders International, LLC. Mr. Sheahan leads many of Pathfinders' engagements providing government relations, marketing, corporate development, and CEO coaching services. He also sits on the board for a fast-growing SDVOSB, where he has directed its strategy and leveraged its status to help increase growth from $2M to over $30M.
